When I made this piece I was think about Asia, especially China. Over the past twenty years Asian economy has progressed to an unprecedented height。While most of people start to believe after more than 100 years Western domination, next generation will be reverse finally, I cannot help to doubt whether the future will be that “positive” and “beautiful”!?

做這件作品的時候我想到了亞洲尤其是中國，過去二十年的經濟起飛使亞洲獲得的前所未有的關注。當所有人都開始相信下一波終於輪到亞洲的時代,而西方世界也陷入了即將失去主導權的恐慌時，我開始反思是否未來真那麼理所當然與美好！？"
